But there's a real difference though, between being a cocaine adect and being a sex addect, or perhaps a gambling addic. This is now fairly uncontroversial. I think most people now would agree that it's possible to get addicted to gambling. Gaming disorder falls into this category of what's called behavior addictions. The w h o guidance, i guesss is sort of reflecting that change in psychology.
