I remember someone actually a former adviser in Downing Street once saying to me, like, if these people knew how chaotic and disorganized it really is, they would be even more scared. They have no idea how bad it is to get the idea that anyone's capable of organising your conspiracy or that scale. And yet we also know that myth-busting and fact-checking are often counterproductive. That's why the call in the book isn't a big set of specific things. It's saying we need to think about, you know, these digital pathogens exist and will continue to. You know, cholera still exists, but we can live with it at a vastly lower cost to life
