Community-Led Design

I think there's a nervousness that comes about when we start talking about things like community-led design. I think the biggest one is that like community know-how is somehow subpar to professional expertise. So as we've gotten farther away from a labor-based economy and moved into a knowledge-based economy, I think that that distance is a similar issue we're running into with design. And I want to just give a caveat to all of this, which is to say this is a journey and a practice, not on off-swift.
