Kwame Kilpatrick was sentenced to 120 days in jail and five years on probation. The former mayor of Detroit received almost $1 million in kickbacks from his friend Bobby Ferguson, the U.S. Attorney says. While still in prison, he received a call detailing details of a criminal bid-breaking scheme involving city contracts which were awarded to his longtime friend.
