The Importance of the Hebrew Bible Canon
When I was growing up, we were Catholic, had a big, big Catholic family Bible and there are like books in there that are not in the NIV or. The Reformation removed them from most Protestant canons. Catholics still acknowledge them in the Episcopal Church. Our understanding is that they can be helpful for use but are not necessary to understand God's message.
