The Importance of Faith in Politics
I am not ashamed of the gospel. And when I would ask them to do that, they would turn and resent me by it for asking. You know, one of the first impactful interviews I ever did in my career was with a very well known and respected Theater of the Christian right. Basically, I think ran Dr. Dobson's political arm at the time when he was still at focus on the family. He didn't intend for this to be some kind of a got you interview or anything. The answer just basically was, "We're just here to bargain for a seat at the table"
