The Secret Polish Army

Fiers Pulesci is the only man known ever to have voluntarily entered a Nazi concentration camp. He and fellow Polish officers started an underground resistance group in Warsaw. The Allies had no idea what was going on there and little chance of finding out. In those first months of the war, it's estimated that the Soviets rounded up over a million Polish citizens who went east.
