I'm quite sure that the decolonising movement has taken root in so many of our institutions, particularly since the Black Lives Matter movement. The reason it got traction was very few people in this country know much about our imperial history. So when Zellis, noisy, aggressive folk tell them that it was a litany of racism and oppression, they don't know enough to contradict them. It doesn't look good if you contradict what appears to be the progressive view, because then you too will get labelled as being racist or colonial apologists... That's part of the ignorance has been a problem. I hope to at least lay out the whole story, the whole story of the British instance
