The Four Ds of Investing in the Japanese Market
The yen has appreciated by almost 50%. I think it's 45% or something like that. And that makes Japanese companies very competitive right now. So there's plenty of room for the yen to appreciate, satisfy investors and keep Japan competitive. The problem is immediate and huge, rather than it takes a long time for currency moves to take place. You know, I remember when the yen was 350 to the dollar and it took, gosh, that took decades to correct, but it does correct. It takes a very long time and it's a, you know, it's a very long path.
