The Subversion Trope in Lord of the Rings and Mulan
The idea of the amazon is not what you're talking about. And a lot of the stuff we're seeing to day is the amazon. So it has to do with with these kind of monstrous women that cannt come in, and are super powerful and overpower men. An example of this lies in stories like lord s with ewin and in mulan. Even joan of arc, obviously, as was accused of subversion, and was and was kind of dangerous for the system. But i think that's what you see in these types of stories.
