Is There an Ideology?
When you are a global hegemon, like global capitalism is and has been for the past 30 years or so, you do not need an ideology anymore because there is no competing ideology. Having an ideology becomes counterproductive because what you have instead of ideology is reality. When your ideology is science is reality, you're beyond argument. How can you argue? Who argues with reality? And the same people. So we could call it an implicit ideology as opposed to the more explicit ideologies of classic tortoiterians.
