Humanists Generalize All the Time

In the humanities, our objects tend to be because of their a complexity and richness in the continent. So it would be a mistake, i think, to say that humanists don't generalize. Humanists generalize all the time, all the time. This is true for novels. It's true for social processes. It'strue for historical moments and so on. And that's a really interesting allenge, and one of the keys to to soor how humanistic work goes well.
