Marie Clark Taylor was the first woman to get a PhD in botany. She studied Salvia Splendins, which has striking scarlet blooms. Her biggest legacy is bringing light microscopes into the classroom. "Why do we hear so much about certain scientists and not about many others? That's a really good question," Sean says.
