Are We Both Rational and Emotional?
I can imagine some people thinking that a mode of spiritual celebration is the antithesis of the rational rigor that's required in this moment. And you just want to be off happy praising god. I do want to be of facing cod but i don't think that's the denial of seriousness. If we want to take human beings seriously, then we need to take us as we are - which is we are both. We think rationally and we have emotions. To register the magnitude requires emotion, because that's who we are.
