Why You Should Invest by Yourself
Do it yourself investing, also known as DIY or do it yourself investing. Some of these funds like Vanguard funds or I share funds even are 0.08% or 0.0% at most 3%. They're very, very cheap and I can choose what I'm buying. But an advisor telling me to buy that fund has now slapped on a 1% fee. So the same investment, but 0.03% fees versus 1% fees. That is huge.
