The Importance of Preparation

I'm known for being materialistic. This is one of my weaknesses. I just had a game against grandmaster Andrew Tang where he bluffed me. The same with openings. Often my students think that they're opening their opponents know a lot of openings, but they don't. There you have it from the nine time Norwegian champion himself that no one knows anything. It's not people forget. Things are like a fresh meat. It gets old very fast. You just forget it. If you don't look at chess every day, if you repair something, it will perhaps last for the next game. And the day after you at least me, then I've forgotten my preparation. Yeah
