Is Sideloading the Way to Go?
The way things stand today everything goes through Apple's app store and Apple takes 30 or 15 percent of every dollar that gets spent through these ads. If Apple could choose to have a couple of partner companies around the world that they would authorize to run alternative app stores they could if they so choose on their own have an android like advanced option somewhere in settings to allow quote unquote sideloading, he says.
