The Dow Jones Industrial Average Is a Market Cap Weighted Index of 30 Stocks Okay So I'm Old Without Telling Me You're Old
The Dow Jones industrial average has had lots of changes to it over the last 50 years a lot of tech companies went in there 20 years ago and we've seen them kind of going in. The S&P 500 is a market cap weighted index of 500 stocks a much broader group of company yeah you saw what you did there so to me I think the Dow every major financial news organization should kill it but by no way does this mean the move lower is over for now. Carter will have a take on this when we bring them in without question.
