Is Post Production a Good Idea?
I see it more often in costume choices and sometimes set wall colors, things like that. On comedies, usually. That's where I see it. When the studio is expecting a big bright comedy and the filmmakers want to have it set in realism, but be funny, that's where the problem is. Drama is not so much. And action films, not at all. Why? You guys run away. The studio is too cheap. Sure. But why don't you go through post? Because that's when I always miss the producer that I've gotten to know that understands the problems.
