Global Reboot - How Much Has the War Hurted Food Supplies?
25 to 30% of the wheat crop in the global food system is produced by russia and ukraine combined. Over 50 % of the essential oils, particularly sunflower oil, comes from Russia. The transport of food from different parts of the world is quite high. Even when you have countries like india that are significantly in creasing the amounts of commodities that their releasing into theglobal food system, the high price of wheat makes the commodities as much as 23 per cent higher than they were this last year.
