Hercules and Eurysthius

Hercules was educated by the wise centaur, Chiron. When Eurysthius saw him he was both terrified and jealous of him. He began to devise labors that would seem impossible. Yet Hercules accomplished them all. The Oracle told him also that at the end of many labors he would be received among the gods.
