Drawing With Other People
Sketching is a record of who you were at that time and how you felt in that moment, no matter where you were. It's only you in your character at that location at that point in time doing it in that way. When I went hiking once in Los Angeles with three other people, women, who were shorter than me, like seven or eight inches shorter than me. So we're coming down this hill and I'm trying to keep pace with them. And so I'm not walking at my natural pace and I ended up like severely like cramping my leg because I was walking in a way that wasn't my natural gate.
