The four women were thinkers of freedom, but one was what we would call now a liberal progressive. They had a special allergy to being sorted in a kind of a category like a collective or a group and I think that's a common core. To categorize people in groups is for them the greatest danger for human freedom. But didn't Iran in particular talk about sort of being forced to think of herself as a Jew and also even as a woman? Absolutely.
