There's a moment in this track that illustrates exactly what you're talking about. That is so classic Daff Punk to introduce different ideas and then collide them all together at the end. They were drawing on a very different set of references, the Eagles Hotel, California, Fleetwood Max, Rumors, Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, Classic Rock.
