The Importance of Being a Good Mom
Kazuki's mother suspected that he had autism. He didn't respond to social cues, wasn't able to read faces and things like that. She said he was a normal baby going in, abnormal baby going out. Kazuki says these experiences were basically traumatizing to him. It immediately stigmatized him as like the smart kid, like as different. And this becomes clear later that that's true about him.
