I've never been a very patient person, and i always want to do what i want when i want to do it. With sailing, you just can't do that. A sailboat only goes six or seven miles per hour,. And you see land and it might be nhour away, there's nothing you could do about it. It forces you to be patient. I guess it mellows you out and puts life into perspective. Given my background, though i had enough, had plenty of lessons in life that were a hardship ad taught me to persevere and weather through things.
