Tyree Nichols, Brianna's Story, I'm Just Trying to Go Home
There were constant reminders today in this service of something that Black Americans know all too well. Tyree's story, Brianna's story, it's happened to a lot of families in this country. Their families now share this unfortunate bond that they both lost their children at the hands of police officers. And we heard that directly from Tyree's mother as well. The only thing that's keeping me going is the fact that I really truly believe my son was sitting here on an assignment. Amen.
