The New York Audition Scene

I remember treating me like, you know, I beat her for a job. That was so crazy. A year before that, my first jobs were off Broadway plays. And I used to do hip hop musicals. New York's in our own room. The hottest hell. It's hot as well, the paint. You'd walk up staircases at 12 or 13 years old and there'd be 42 kids your age for some Cheerios commercial. Like it was, it's what you had. Everybody would audition for Law and Order once a week. They were always like show up this day, show up.
