The History of the City of Caoline
The presence of the walls and importance of the artifects have led historians to believe that this sight must have been a shang capital. The presence of such fortified, ramned earth walls show a progression from the practices of the lung shang culture who had dominated these areas of the upper yellow river in centuries gone.
