Russian Oil - Is the Price Cap a Good Idea?
The idea of the price cap is to curb Russia's profits without taking oil off the market. The New York Times reported this week that the U.S. has allowed the EU to take the lead in determining what the price cap will be set at. And if Russia retaliates by cutting oil production, that's really going to send prices high.
