The exhibition focuses on the Kemenid Empire, from 550 BC right up to Alexander the Great. This is the largest land empire the world had ever seen to that point. And you see echoes of this nomadism in the way that they shape their form of imperial courts. They're not having to kind of trade or gain them by violence. They've got them.
