Akum is an open-source programming language. It can be used to build web apps, games and other software. Akum has a number of features that make it easy for developers to get started with the language. akum was created in 2007 by Andrew Keen as part of his PhD thesis on computer science at Durham University. The current version of akum runs on Microsoft's Windows 8 operating system.
