In 19 forty one, he was still pushing for a unified india. A lot of his decisions at this point are also, for me, they read almost as acts of political naivete. For him, the ine ing of personalities was a key reason why inda was creening towards the path that she was heading down. These were subjective assessments that he made based on how these men were reacting to propositions for India's political future. They were assessments of human beings. He is essentially reconstructing them as personalities with flaws, which often blinded them to the greater good of the country. As yet, he does not want to believe it.
