The Limits of Eminent Domain and Forced Pooling
Eminent domain supported economic development occurs when a government decides that some neighborhood is not being put to the highest possible use. In forced pooling, there will be many people who own land or they own the severed mineral rights in a reservoir of oil or gas. The government then decrees that the government gets control over how the rights are exercised. And libertarians and interested Catholics, both have a concern about this.
