"It doesn't taste like food at all. Like I genuinely feel like my brain does not know what to do with the information it's getting from my mouth," he says. And as a sort of weird lingering bitter, chemically slightly burnt taste at the end. There's a phenomenon called stimulus specific satiety. You've become satid on a particular stimulus, but you haven't lost the appetite for other things.
