Comparative Methodology: A Critical Approach

Dr. David Perry has written a new book about the gospels and their place in Greco-Roman literary world. He says he is indebted to scholars who have looked at these texts from an historical perspective rather than trying to retrieve something from his own faith perspective. His research was very suspicious of romantic approach we've talked about, so it really starts with why do we do this? And then while he's debating that I bring in those other historical evaluative elements as part of my analysis.
