The Terror of Public Speaking
stage fright and the terror of public appearing before a public um are part of the story of the revolutions. One example that I found very affecting was that of the radical Berlin law student Paul Bonner who saw there were there were people speaking giving you know rousing speeches from a apodium in central Berlin. The experience of revolution is an apprenticeship in political activism which in many cases shapes people for the rest of their lives.
