The Paradox of the Book of Job

Everything in the book of Job occurs in this kind of modality of discontinuity, of pain and trouble. And again and again, writers in the era think of Job as being an epitome of encyclopedic knowledge. This is a really curious paradox about the book. He doesn't know about the complexities of creation. The idea that Job can emblematize both in such a deep knowledge and ignorance seems to me quite important in the idea of the unknown.
