How to Transfuse One Pack Red Blood Cells
The pack red blood cells are prepared from the depletion of the plasma. They're stored in a fridge at around 2 to 6 degrees Celsius and the shelf life is no longer than 42 days. The indications for its use as we all know we usually transfuse when the hemoglobin is less than 70 in intensive care unit, especially to help oxygen carrying capacity.
