Is the Digital Currency Really Taking Off?

I feel like the people working in DeFi and like AI stuff are like a million times more competent than the people working on CBDCs and digital dollars. There's some obvious reasons for that but there's also just this fact of like it does this doesn't seem like an appealing job for someone smartYeah I mean it has the government or the US government you know ever executed anything with any degree of efficiency no probably you want a private company doing that in almost all well they're gonna subcontract it to like Microsoft or Amazon or whatever right?
