Is There a Single Moral Code?

i don't think he really comes to, in the least in the section that i read, a real solid conclusion about the extent to which this is a a challenge. And perhaps contradictory, that that there is no necessarily clear cut, single moral code, and that the gods may do things that humans, even now, or even back then, would consider abhorrent. We have moral sense because it's hard wired into us biologically. The one supports the other, and both together guarantee the continuity of the group,. defined by its rules of conduct.
