What Does It Mean to Interpret Scripture According to Scripture?
Luther was somebody that helped me a lot with that sort of thing. He keeps saying that humans are darkness and God's word is light. And he has all these very fun metaphors about it, like with forgiveness. What you do is you need to follow God's words lead as to how to reason. So interpreting scripture in this way... To interpret scripture according to scripture is to interpret it according to the catechism. The 10 commandments, the apostles create the Lord's prayer.
