The U.S. And Europe's Bilateral Support for Security Guarantees

CNN's John Defterios says he was hoping to see a big number, U.S. providing 25 billion and the Europeans collectively also providing like 25 billion. That would have been something I think we didn't see in this NATO summit. He says it wasn't about getting Europeans to work together or coordinate their efforts more. It was just sort of everyone spending more,Defterios says. And if Americans want the Europeans to be able to do their bit and fight together,. well, we need to really shift gears in how we're engaging Europe and NATO and the EU when it comes to defense.
