Stephanie Coontz: I think sometimes you have to trick yourself though. When i have a really hard piece of writing, i will avoid it, like a lot of us do, when there's something hard hey'll procrastinate. And then the next thing you know, you're totally engrossed. The sentences are just flying out of your fingers. So again, i think that secret of spontaneity is consistency. But maybe you could take it too far, and maybe have to re watch that episode of midnight dineherb.
