Is There a Language That Doesn't Work in Ontology?

We have a terrific tendency to reify all sorts of concepts, and to think of things as entities when maybe we should think of them as relationships. It's not clear to me that we have any business trying to do ontology except in a very pragmatic sense. If you're doing particle physics, it makes sense to talk about proteins as entities, but if you're viewing them from a field theoretic point of view, then they're not really entities.
