The Dose Response of Muscle Protein Synthesis

The next item on our list is to give some kind of more dose response, sort of numbers for what we think is actually going on with the volume debate. One study that looked at one set versus three sets gave us a pretty substantial increase in muscle protein synthesis. The post-workout elevations in my for both proteins synthesis are always going to be somewhat limited by the muscle damage question.
