It explores how power operates in hidden ways, using mapping and categorization to better understand and control individuals, and discusses the role of advertising in shaping desires and needs. The chapter also introduces the perspective of Chin Ben Bay on how this system of control originated through slavery, colonization, and economic exploitation.
