The Importance of Using a Chemical Dispersion Model
Aloha is a chemical dispersion model that was developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in collaboration with NOAA. It gives you air movement and other kinds of dynamics that would influence the dispersion of a heavy or light gas. For planning purposes, it's used more to understand what could happen rather than trying to suggest that the model is going to actually tell you what is happening.
