The Bees Are Flying at the Equivalent of Everest

Micheal wanted to test whether there was a limit to how high these insects can go. He's essentially looking for an answer to the same question as our listener ch so they pumped air out of the box, changing the simulated altitude in 500 meter increments until they managed to get the bees to fail. And when i say fail, don't worry, the bees were fine. They just stopped flying. The biggest surprise for us is that when we measured a whole bunch of these bees, most of them wouldn't fail until above eight thousand meters equivalent. So those bees are capable of flying at the equivalent of over the top of everist, despite the reduced oxygen and reduced air density.
