The Power of Patience

In Colossians 3, Paul tells Christians to quote, clothe yourselves in patience. He says this relates back to John's impatience. How does our devotion to him not make us more impatient for his coming? Well there are really two forms that patience takes and one of them has to do with time. The other is the ability to absorb irritants without getting paralyzed by them. And so what I do in my reflection is to ask, okay, suppose that we have some kind of responsibility to be patient.
